How to Get a FREE SSL Certificate?

In addition to paid certificates, Drivehosting.NET also offers so-called "Let's Encrypt" certificates for FREE.

After paying for your chosen hosting, go to the client administration.

 

  1. Go to My Services tab -> Webhosting -> Manage

  1. On the main panel of the service, go to the Server portal.

  1. The server portal is a portal for controlling, managing and uploading files to your website. You have everything at hand and in one place. To get an SSL certificate, go to the Hosting and DNS tab -> Hosting Settings.

  1. In Hosting Settings, in the Security column, click SSL/TLS Support. By doing so, you choose that you want your website and emails to be secure. Do not click on the certificate at this time, because you have not yet issued it. At the very bottom of the page, confirm with the OK button.

  1. Go back to the Server Portal home page and navigate to the Security -> SSL/TLS Certificates column.

On the SSL/TLS Certificates page, you will see certificate authorities from which you can purchase an SSL certificate, and at the bottom of the page there are More options -> Install a free Let's Encrypt certificate. Click the Installer button. A sidebar will appear where you enter your email and click everything you want to keep secure (WE RECOMMEND web, email and email servers at a minimum) and click the Get Free button.

  1. After the Let's Encrypt certificate is issued, you will be redirected back to the SSL/TLS Certificates page. Here you can set automatic redirection from http to https, HSTS and OCSP stapling (Improves site performance and increases visitor security).
